Frontrun has three plans: Free to start, Pro for the full network plus API + MCP access, and Max with 4x the usage of Pro, full history and the Stealth + Accelerator lanes.

One monthly usage allowance covers chat, outreach, founder and funding enrichment, exports and the API. **Monthly usage does not roll over** - it resets at the start of each billing period. Top-ups never expire.

- **7-day free trial** - card on file, cancel anytime before it converts; API keys work during the trial

### Max - $199/mo
- Everything in Pro
- **4x the usage and API calls of Pro**
- **Full history** of the database

- No trial - Max starts when you pay. On Pro already? Upgrading swaps your plan in place: unused Pro time is credited and the difference is charged today

## What uses usage

Data and enrichment calls draw on your monthly usage; heavier calls (company deep-dives, founder intelligence, convergence, thesis search) use more than light ones (search, sectors, snapshots). Several expensive calls are free when they find nothing: convergence, thesis search, classify, company founders, funding and signals, and similar accounts.

## Top-up packs

Out of usage before the period ends? Buy a top-up from the developer page. Top-ups never expire and are spent after your monthly allowance runs out.

### Auto-refill

Opt in to auto-refill and Frontrun automatically adds a top-up whenever your usage runs low - so long-running agents never stall on a `402`. Configure (or pick a different pack) from the developer page. If a refill payment fails, auto-refill is disabled and you're notified.

## Which plan should I pick?

**"I just want to try it"** → Free. No card: a snapshot of your sectors and one weekly report. Or start Pro's 7-day free trial for the whole thing, API included.

**"I'm using this for real"** → Pro. Monthly usage covers a daily driver: feed, new follows and convergence checks plus regular company deep-dives - plus the full network of 5,000+ tracked accounts, 100 custom accounts, and MCP access.

**"I'm running agents"** → Max. 4x the usage of Pro, full history, 500 custom accounts, plus the stealth and accelerator lanes.

**"I need high volume or guarantees"** → Enterprise. Custom rate limits, dedicated support.

## How billing works

1. **Subscribe or buy a pack** - every plan includes monthly usage; packs top up any account
2. **Monthly usage applied first** - you spend your monthly allowance before any top-up
3. **Monthly usage resets** - unused monthly usage resets each billing period
4. **Top-ups never expire** - they stay on your account until used
5. **Track usage** - every charged response includes `usage_pct` and `usage_resets_at`
6. **Out of usage** - a `402` (`out_of_usage`) means this period's usage is used up; upgrade, top up or enable auto-refill
