tl;dr: five Y Combinator companies, 245 followers between all of them on X as of august 31 2026. four are from the YC fall 2026 (F26) batch and two of those are not in the Y Combinator directory yet. the smallest has three followers, and it had one this morning. every entry carries the date frontrun first flagged it.
a follower count is not a quality score
it is an attention score, and that is the useful part.
none of the numbers below say anything about whether these companies are good. a three-follower account is not a worse company than a three-thousand-follower account, it is an earlier one. what the number measures is how many people are currently paying attention, and at three, the answer is almost nobody.
that gap closes fast. the same batch produced 31 companies we listed on august 27; several have already multiplied their following since. what does not come back is the window where a founder answers a direct message the same day, because they are not yet getting fifty of them.
so the list below is not a ranking. it is a timestamp.

2. Mirrors: staging environments for AI agents

3. Invertix: autonomous workers for renewable energy

5. Visibl Semiconductors: a faster path to custom silicon

they go up, and the ones that go up fastest are usually the ones a few good investors found first.
that is the whole thesis. a company at three followers is not hiding. it is simply early enough that the people who follow it next are the signal, and there are few enough of them to read one by one.
we publish these rosters every batch, with the date attached, so the lead time is checkable rather than claimed. the fall 2026 roster has all 31 we had as of august 27. the summer batch has the ones YC had not published at the time.
